Residence permit for financially independent persons:
- initially issued for a period of 1 year,
- with subsequent annual renewal (stay not less than 183 days),
- including spouse, children under 18,
- without the right to work,
- status of permanent residence after 10 years,
- the possibility of applying for citizenship after 12 years of continuous residence,
- recognized dual citizenship.
Conditions for obtaining a visa:
- annual payment of a one-time tax,
- housing in Switzerland (long term rental or property),
- proof of trustworthiness,
- medical insurance.
