Residence permit (for investors & homeowners):
- issued for 5 years
- extended for 5 years while maintaining investment
- including spouse, direct descendants, up to 21 years old, direct ascendants,
- long-term residence permit - after 5 years at the presence of income and permanent residence (periods of absence for less than 6 months in a row or 9 months during a 5-year period),
- citizenship - 7 years after obtaining a long-term residence permit,
- dual citizenship recognizing.
Conditions for obtaining a residence permit:
- possession of real-estate or land in the amount of not less than 250 thousand euros,
- availability of a rental contract for hotel apartments & furnished housing for a period exceeding 10 years with a rental price of more than 250 thousand euros,
- investments from 250 thousand euros in the Greek investment project, which has a positive effect on the country's economy,
- investments of at least 400 thousand euros in a Greek company, state bonds with a maturity of at least 3 years,
- placement of a term deposit of at least 400 thousand euros in a Greek credit institution for a period of at least 12 months ...
Residence permit (for financially independent persons):
- issued for 2 years
- extended for 3 years
- including spouse and children under the age of 21,
- without the right to work,
- long-term residence permit - after 5 years with the availability of income and permanent residence (periods of absence for less than 6 months in a row or 9 months during a 5-year period),
- citizenship - 7 years after obtaining a long-term residence permit,
- recognized dual citizenship.
Conditions for obtaining a residence permit:
- availability of a stable annual income covering living expenses in Greece at the rate of 2 thousand euros per month for the main applicant, plus 20% for the spouse, 15% for each child,
- medical insurance,
- medical certificate of the absence of dangerous diseases.
