Currently, the most attractive for investors are:

• bank's sector,
• transport and logistics sector,
• agribusiness sector.

With investments of more than 2 million euros, the applicant and his family members can count on obtaining Austrian citizenship on an expedited basis (the procedure takes from 12 to 18 months).

The aforementioned sum of 2 million euros is not legally defined, but we are not aware of any positive solutions for smaller investments.

Approval of the project (investor’s candidacy) is carried out at the government level.

If an investor expects to receive a passport, then the investment should be considered as a donation, as there are obligations not to withdraw funds from an approved project.
